The Woman and the Beast Part 2

Purpose: To acquaint you with the book and to help you to see the events as they happen in Revelation.



In chapter 17 we have the woman (the bride of the Anti-Christ) and the beast (the Anti-Christ).

1. List the three parts of the name that was written on the forehead of the woman.

Revelation 17:5 "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."

NOTE: The phrase "was" is in reference to Rev. 13:1-2. The phrase "is not" is in reference to Rev. 13:3 when one of his heads died and lived again. The phrase "out of the bottomless pit" is in reference to Rev. 20:1-3, 7.

NOTE: Jerusalem has grown and is now built on seven mountains.

NOTE: The seventh king gives his place to the eighth king and the eighth king becomes the seventh until he goes into perdition.
