V. The Lamb's Book of Life

God puts your name in the Lamb's Book of Life when you are saved.  At the moment you believe that you sinned before God, you repent of your sins, believing that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and raised the third day, and pray with your mouth asking God to forgive you by the blood of Jesus, confessing that Jesus is Lord, your name is put in the Lamb's Book of Life.  (Romans 10:8-11 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.)

1. Only those whose   are written in the  book of life can enter into Heaven.  (Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.)

2. Who is the Lamb?

(John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.)

3. A person is saved by which name?    (Choose one of the following)

(Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11  This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.)

A. God the Father

B. Holy Spirit

C. Jesus Christ

4. Jesus said that we are to   if our names are written in Heaven.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.)
